From 31 May to 7 June, a group of tourism professionals took part in a cruise against the current - in every sense of the word - aboard the dahabeya Sekhmet<\/strong>a traditional sailing boat gliding slowly along the waters of the Nile. From Luxor to the gates of Aswan, the Nile unrolls its thousand-year-old ribbon. Each port of call is a whisper of history: the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, the majestic temple of Abu Simbel or the columns of Karnak bathed in golden light.
