Imagine gliding through a sea so transparent that the reflection of the sky merges with the horizon. There, at Shaviyani Atoll, lived dazzling reefs, more than 20 diving spots, a 9 km \u00abreef house\u00bb bursting with colour, turtles, rays, gentle sharks and wriggling fish. I remember the morning I put on my mask and snorkel (and my courage, too) to go turtle-snorkelling. The guide whispered to me: \u00abSilence... observe\u00bb. And that's when I saw a turtle gliding like a maestro underwater, between the corals. A bubble. A breath. Time suspended. This sensation, when your ears become accustomed only to the lapping and the bubbles, becomes a kind of active meditation. It's bliss.
